fixed it! one of the data log pins in the CN2 port came lose. all is good now. Time for some Boost by geeeeaaaaarrrr....lol

adn i installed a 5151S high side switch into IC16 for my EBC in my P30 ecu. it originally had the 5050 there, would that work with the EBC instead of the 5151S? So i woke up this morning to get ready to go on the Dyno, emulator connects just fine, hulog can't connect with ecu for some reason. the only thing i did different was the latest eCtune update. any ideas?

o, too late lol, i just reinstalled vista on a vm. so just so i understand this for next time. i DONT have to run force update untill calvin sends out the new release? running force update before locks up the system?

before i reinstall windows, can i save my \"liscense.xml\" file and the \"Settings\" folder and then just paste them back into the ectune folder after the reinstall? will that work so i don't have to go through registration and request another liscense for my ostrich?

so i ran the force update yesterday and successfully updated to the new version of ectune. i try to open the program today and i got the lovely MSGID 002h error...ugh! i didn't do anything besides the update. now i have to reinstall windows, this is such a pain lol. neway off to reinstall...luckily ...

should i change the buad rate too? currently i have it set to the highest possible

so i reduced the latency to 1ms, didn't work. then i tried 8ms and it seem to start downloading faster, the pause 1/4 of the way and takes about another 2 mins to finish.

yea, same here. i increased the baud rate in the driver setting, seems a bit faster but not much. i don't know what else to do, but i'll probably just deal with it. everything else works fine so...

i cant change the baud rate settings, only the com port. the buad is grayed out.
