I reverted back to the NO setting. But still have one problem. In the manual, it says set the EBC activation point right below the target boost pressure, ex : if the target is 11psi, use something like 9 or 10 psi. And set the fast spool DC to 100% or a target DC you want to use for spooling speed....

Thanx for all the patients and coming back at me :) I know how to hook it up the other way, been there and done that. I just thought it was waste of EBC, having it working 100% during idle and cruising, which is most of the time. (trying to increase the life time of my EBC, because I am cheap) That'...

Tell me if I am theoretically wrong, rather than pointing me to do a work around. FACT : My boost controller is always closed and it does not send any pressure to the waste gate (always full/over boost) at 0% DC. It is a fact and I have tested it by disconnecting the wire, and also tried it by disab...

Can't this EBC be used for both NO mode or NC mode. Depending on how the vacuum is connected. To my knowledge, air flows from port 1 to port 3 when there is no signal, and once the EBC sees the signal, air flows from port 2 to port 3. Hooking up port 1 to port 3 will make it a normally close setting...

After some more trial and error, it seems like a bug to me. Normally Open mode does not work anymore. I select normally opened and set EBC activation 9 psi. I tried both 0% and 100% for fast spool DC. However, my boost never goes past 5 psi. I had to change the whole EBC setting using normally close...

I want the waste gate to be closed most of the time. The waste gate will only open during WOT or high load when the boost meets target boost. So if the EBC is normally closed, it has to work 100% to keep the wastegate closed. Where if I have it normally opened, the EBC doesn't have to work in order ...
