I'm up and running, thank you for your help, I wouldn't be using ectune again if it wasn't for your great assistance. Gaskleppie, I have tried to reply to your pm but I keep geting an error. Yes, this is a software/hardware error. Thank you for the fresh licence, it is much appreciated.

JaredKaragen, I have uploaded ectune successfully to my old laptop but I have now have ran into another problem. I am getting error \"MSGID 004\" when I try to run ectune. JaredKaragen, I don't suppose you have any insight to why I'm getting this error (I have attached the image). I'm running Windows 8 and can not seem to get Ectune to force update. I have the latest version uploaded. Thank you

Ectune download

Does anyone know how I can download Ectune? I have had a new laptop so I need to install it from new. I think I still have my last license from Calvin in my hotmail account so I should be able to get it running fine. Thank you Rich777

Just out of interest, have you tried starting a fresh tune to see if the lean/rich condition goes away ? I've had a few strange problems in the past which i couldnt explain which starting a new tune cured.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post. Are you saying this is normal on eCtune? I've tuned many platforms before, and tip-in/tip-out can be tuned to keep AFR's at or around target. I would argue that it is not normal to have a rich condition during tip-out when the tip-out trim is maxed out to a rem...
