cruising timing

My water temps and egt are at their highest when on the interstate. Rpm will be at roughly 3000 rpm and water temps will creep over time. I checked my map and was at 33 degrees advanced, I am going to try and advance it a little more. But what is a general \"rule\" for cruising timing?

I stay away from the anti-lag for now....maybe I'll try a restrictor. I have a 1/8th line (smaller than -3 an) feeding the turbo now though. I'll look into it a little more. I had the similar setup minus ectune for 3 years plus as well, with no smoke from the turbo for the most part.

Re: Do you have severe afterfires at rev limiter?

I worry that this had contributed to my oil seal blowing out several months ago. I think I am in the same boat. My first turbo (sc34) started smoking pretty bad a couple months ago. I replaced it with a sc61 and it too is now letting oil past the turbine piston seal now. I am a little lost trying t...

analog inputs

I have 3 showing, but number 2 and 3 are grayed out. I was reading this was normal for the DIY version...but is it also this way for the PRO version? Or is there another way to access these? I am just going through the settings menu.

I am not sure. My hulog is connected all the time to the ecu, the usb cord is sometimes plugged into the laptop when I log or watch data. It started when it was plugged into the laptop, so I just figured I'd unplug it (I don't remember if anything froze or went wrong with ectune) and get going since...

I had a similar problem with mine as well. While at a stop light getting ready to go, the power cut in and out rapidly. I cut the car off and unplugged the ostrich and hulog......haven't had an incident besides that one. I don't have a log file of it though.

Random MIL flashes

With the r15 release I get random flashes of this light. Idle or WOT it will happen....seems more so with WOT though. I've been most impressed with ectune as a whole. Can't say enough good things about it, nice job :D .
