AEM F/IC would be the way to go if you have to have ATTS. However, I've heard that ATTS starts acting up at around 250hp, so it's probably better to get rid of it anyway. http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2307566

SportShift != ATTS Also, Tiptronic == Porsche, SportShift == Honda. ATTS is an active differential system that can send torque back and forth across the axle. It relies on its own computer, and is therefore incompatible with ECU swapping. It's still in use today on vehicles such as the Acura TL SH-A...

I think he was talking about his car's battery, not the ostrich. Using rechargeables in the ostrich would be the worst idea ever.David974 wrote:try to charge your battery they seems to be rechargeable IMO these rechargeable batteries are 1.2V and don't react like 1.5V alckaline so it's a possible problem

RAM should have nothing to do with the eCtune license or the program itself. I would be surprised if that were true. I resized a partition on my hard drive once, and that forced me to get a new license. eCtune knows a lot about the hardware that's running when the license is requested, it would see...

I always thought retarding the timing would do the opposite.. Starts the combustion process too early in the stroke and thus begins to push down on the piston as it still wants to rise in the stroke.. The ignition values you see on the maps stand for the degree of ignition ADVANCE you are giving th...

Serial output eh? Well how the hell does that work? Use the serial cable you normally program the wideband with on the AUX out port? Yes, that's right. It's in the wideband settings, just choose the correct COM port. I neved disabled closed loop in the options... Do I need to? You have to disable i...

still locked out after update
Still having the same problem from this thread http://forum.ectune.com/viewtopic.php?t=1686 . I think this all started because I changed my clock settings earlier today to see if that would unlock ectune so I could datalog on my way home (having lean issues). I set the clock back to the right times,...

Old version?
When I started ectune yesterday, it told me that it would expire on 1/30/2009. I've run force update, but there is none to update to. Now, it's locked me out saying that my version is too old.

The documentation for eCtune is severely lacking. I realize that calvin is quite busy, but the docs are in the same basic state they were in from the moment they were posted, which is about 1.5 years now if I'm not mistaken. I've said before that clear, concise documentation would really separate eC...
