My $0.02: You might be seeing the result of flow restriction in the fuel-return line. As the new pump is likely pushing through much more fuel than the stock one, that means your return line needs to flow much more fuel than it did before. If the fuel return line flow is insufficient, that would res...

You can add, and insert columns more or less as you please. That way you can kill unnecessary resolution where you don´t need it - and add it in where you do need it. From memory: Just highlight the column (mbar/psi) and right-click to see options. /Allan

Oh oh there´s no way I would ever own a D16Z6. :) D1 5 Z6 is the vtec-E found in our euro EK3 models. D15Z1 is the older vtec-e type, lower power. Sourcing bits and parts these days, as my mechanic lets me know which spots on the car is ALSO rusted out, yeah ! I have evil plans of using a GPO to sw...

Anyone experienced with vtec-e D15z6?

So here´s the plan. Step 1: Buy a VTEC-E econobox EK Civic with D16z6. Done. Step 2: Spend shameful amounts of money fixing it up.(In progress.) Step 3: Break it in for a month or two, unmodified. Step 4: Fit other MAP sensor, injectors, wideband, making a nice base tune and see if comparable-to-st...

Motorsport sensors are often 0-5 volt, connected very much like our MAP sensors. SPA gauges uses these, for example. These should work no problem on the ECU. Do remember to remove R136 and R138 if you choose D10, though. /Allan

I am afraid tha no such thing as a \"free emulator\" exists :) To modify parameters yourself you would need an emulator+logger like the Moates Demon and an eCtune Pro license. I´m sure Chris at www.xenocron.com can help you out - he ships internationally, too. /Allan

Get a distributor cap with input for an external coil. Take the Ignition Out signal (usually a white wire at the distributor end NOT to be mistaken for one of the wires going to the sensors within the distributor) and feed it to your external ignitor. /Allan

The display is not likely to have a significant power drain... The controller, driving the heater element in the O2 sensor, is. If display and controller are one combined unit, well then the display would be \"the controller\" in your case. If you have a \"signal ground\" wire, connect it to ECU D21...

I have never managed to get the LC-1 analog outputs to work 100%, ever, so not my favourite product to use as a reference :) Ideally there should be a \"power ground\" into which the controller/sensor puts a current drain.Chassis should be fine. And then a \"signal ground\" you´d put to D21/D22 at ...

What´s that easy iacv change again? I´m working on a customer car with an H22 and 3-wire IACV and so far, no matter how we wire it the OBD1 ECU there is no idle control. Ideas are very much welcome! /Allan

Just delete some columns especially some of those really close to 1000mbar. These will probably be changed somewhat as the turbo is added. Look for areas where the lines in the map are reasonably straight, this is a good indication that the resolution can be reduced and interpolation will do its thi...

Try to see if the Moates troubleshooing is of any help: http://support.moates.net/2009/02/28/troubleshooting-ostrich/ The very first phase is to verify that the Ostrich presents a serial port to Windows, which is where the driver comes in. Personally I always use the latest FTDI drivers. http://www....
