Datalogging bug(s) 0.2.0r8

I think I'm using 0.2.0r8 t4. These bugs appear to be application NOT ROM related - I've experienced them on multiple ROM versions. I think they may be related. Setup = IBM Thinkpad T30, 512Mb RAM, Xp, .net 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 installed. Using RS232 Serial -> TTL converter on hardware RS232 port COM1. ...

What the hell is up with MSD boxes on hondas?

This is the second car I've done in 2 months with a MSD 6AL, or Digital 6 on it that has behaved like a complete whackjob. The first: 9:1 81mm LS/vtec, 60-1, Hondata S300. Car was struggling to make ~290s whp with the MSD box around 15psi. Power dying around 7500 RPM. Plugs looked great - really cle...

I did a Y8T with a peakboost kit on it that made 310ish on 20something pounds with a 50trim t3t04e. I'm having some issues with vtec transition on the street (was perfect on the dyno? go figure). I'll try to post up the graph in the new years after I get back there.

Autodetect dataloging fail 0.2.0r8t3

1. turn on autodetect datalogging in settings 2. click test with cable disconnected 3. half the time, this will lock up eCtune 4. if it doesn't lock up eCtune, connect cable 5. try to connect - it will fail until eCtune restarted FYI, I'm using a RS232 -> TTL cable on COM1 for testing

I also seem to be able to make a crash pretty consistently with: start dataloging start recording stop recording graph I have to save the datalog, stop datalogging and then reopen it to be able to get graphs consistently without crashes.

retuning, ectune boost control solenoid, 24 psi = 454whp / 320ish torque. Next time I'm up at the shop I'll grab a dyno graph. Hopefully by tonight I'll have some more track times too, deep into the 11s. I'm fucking amazed it hasn't split a sleeve yet.

I'm fairly sure there is more than one style of B series auto transmission: 1. 90-93 Auto 2. USDM 94-95 Auto (OBD1, external TCU) 3. JDM 90-93 Auto B16A 4. JDM 92-95 B16A2 5. USDM 96+ Integra (OBD2, internal TCU ???) The solenoid configuration varies from tranny to tranny. I've seen at least 3 diffe...
