to be honest the only real API that we would have a problem is the security, i'm pretty sure com port access didn't change.

I could do it, but it will be a pain. a real pain. and to be honest not quite worth it.(yet) too many changes coming at this point. and would need access to the source, and i think the copy protection that calvin is using may NOT even work right. I use my ectune in a VM of a super stripped down XP. ...

have you tryed with mono yet? i think it supports a subset of .net 3.5... might be enough.

all i did was format, AFAIK, then installed and copied over backed up files. (tryed without installing as well), then i got a loading bar, and the 002 msg... telling me to force update.... which isn't working right now. hah....

sadly, i did. but I got that wonderful, MSGID 002h error, maybe because i had a messed up clock or whatever, I'm not \"complaining\" per-si, but my point is a good one i think.

of course, you could put a working version for people to reinstall with. instead of REQUIRING a webupdate to install and make a fresh download work. what if i have my XML and i format but don't have web access at that time, OR the server is down? this acully now reminds me of that WGA thing....

CEL bulb seems good, still get no CEL. not at all, the CEL monemtarly at KO. so i don't know about that. will do some more testing.

fresh CAL uploaded to the licenced and paired OST2, no CEL lights (think it's blown) port at 38400. car run's and drives with base CAL, (funny enough, better than the crome)

Sure did, j12 is cut on the left terminal, (when the ROM socket is at the lower right), and raised vertical. done so, there ARE times where j12 WAS needed. (at least that was my understanding back in the day)

I have a CRX with a OBD-1 Converted System. p28, chipped. and I cannot connect the datalogging port. removed and Installed drivers. Removed and installed 3 versions of windows. well, in my case, the wb will be working dual duty.. n/b to reg sensor, (d14) and wb to d10..... soo... i just need to get ectune... whenever the pro beta or whatever finally comes out.
