I'm pretty sure the falling off thing is the platium plugs, I love the 2669's, they work great. I won't use anything else in my own car. I put the set i used to tune my car orginally in a buddies car, they've got a bunch of dyno time, tons of starting from moving my car in and out of the shop(on e98...

I'm about to step up to a 9 or 10 soon, I have been burning up 8s weekly. I install a fresh set of 4554 8s fri at the track, runs great mid 20 psi range. Beat it up all week on pump gas no issues. Get to the track friday and ignition break up on race gas at mid 20psi range first pass. Install new 4...

Easiest way w/o an iacv is to open the idle screw up some(or the main idle screw on the throttle butterfly), and let it idle alittle high. Then pull some timing in the idle cells to idle it lower.

482.6hp 386Tq of Vitara D series goodness

We were playing with the tune on a buddys car today. Its a Vitara piston, TT rod, Evans Performance turbo kit, 65lb injectors, stock sleeves, stock intake, stock cam, tuned by me on eCtune, It made 310 on 15lbs on pump. We decided to see how much we could make out of his ghetto cdm madness mobile. S...

I doubt you'd even notice the difference between 9:1 and 9.8:1 cr's. At that point alot of other factors come into play.

Sweet project, i've done a bunch of cars w/o iac's. I normally raise the idle high, then pull a bunch of timing in those cells to target the idle i want. The strategy works very well.

Take this for example, think about two injectors that flow 10cc different, ignoring dead times. That seems like nothing at static, only 1% at 1000cc and 1010cc. But you don't know what they flow at low pulsewidths.. What if they still flow 10cc apart? that becomes a greater percent error, 10% error...

On the opposite end of the spectrum (higher duty cycles), if you took injectors 3526, 3496, 3446, and 3486 from the graph below...and ran these injectors at a HIGH Duty cycle (as customers are prone to do these days), you will have a 5% difference in fueling from the cylinder that is receiving the ...

Well thats my whole point, the flow patterns are the same, with the variances being at the ends of the spectrum, matching them at the low end isn't possible because they are inconsistant. So all you can do flow wise is to match them at full flow. Did you graph the 4 different battery comp tables, pl...

Thats 100% true from what i've seen, those \"patterns\" dont change. But you asked about the pattern, and that basically that the flow rates vary the most at both ends of the flow spectrum. Look at the low pulsewidth part of the chart, say from 2-3ms thats EXACTLY how 1 injector does/can/would/could...

So if i type up a nice little reports with some pie chart and graphs that will change the results of the findings and/or if you believe in what i've been saying?? I could make all of the reports, excel charts, and powerpoint presentations i want, it would change nothing. You and I both already know ...

I have alot of respect for Paul Yaw, i'll say that first. But what you said above anyone comming up with irrefutable data is almost exactly my point, I've done the testing, and what we've seen is that what hes saying isn't repeatable. I've talked to other injector people, and they say that they get ...
