You will never get it to be 100% rock solid. It is not Calvin's, eCtune's, or your fault. I have tuned vehicles on about 15 different types of software and I ALWAYS see small fluctuation in afr's at idle. Do not get me wrong, a small blip from 14.4 to 14.8 is ok, but if it is jumping a whole point o...

I do not know how many times this had to be covered before people will understand. You can not tune a car unless EVERYTHING, (not half or all but one) is working 100% correctly. Fix every issue with the car before you even hook a laptop to it. This mean all check engine lights, oil leaks, and any ot...

No, thats not how I do it. I usually start with 1.25 to 1.5 retard per psi. Once im on the dyno I start to look at the torque curve. You do not want to just add timing to the whole map, you have try and add timing where the power curve looks like it is dipping down goes flat or does not look right. ...

Battery offset will usually not have a problem while the car is running under load. Usually bad battery offsets will show themselves when your car is at an idle and an electrical load (ex. fan coming on, turning on headlights, ac etc...) causes your car to die. Another indication of bad battery tabl...

I too have pulled 3 sets of these cams out of motors that they have destroyed, OBX FTL. If someone calls about a tune I usually go over their setup on the phone before they come out. If cheap cams are part of their mods I tell them I wont touch their car until they are fixed. Usually the damage has ...
