I was tuning a car this weekend with one of those \"other\" systems (not eCtune) and came across a realyl odd issues when tuning WOT. Your ecu will function fine without that. Im not 100% sure what it is, but I have chipped many ecu's with and without it and they all ran fine.

Have you ran this ecu chipped before? I kind of feel like this ecu was chipped and had problems, so J1 was cut and the ecu sold.

When an ecu is chipped, it is assumed that the jumper is installed. By not having the jumper, you are are running off the factory settings so technically, you are not chipped.

Same issue here, if you update the first time, save and then click no to update next time you open it will still work fine until Calvin gets it all straightened out.
