Ok, re-tested both set of steps numerous times and had no issues. I am using a nokia usb cable so it must be serial connections that have the issue with key off/key on.

I'll have to double check but I did the same steps without knowing this morning. I was trouble shooting (tps, vacumm hose problem) and I had to key off and key on various times and it stayed (auto) connected. I am usnig a nokia usb cable. and version 0020r6.

Ok. cool. I have a p06 I might use since my p75 was the one I fixed but I don't know if it's going to give me more trouble. I am going to pepare the p06 just incase. Would I just need to add the iab components to the p06 or are the iab and pwm components different?

Do the pwm components need be added to a p75 ecu? I am currently using a p75 with the iab components added.

Ok guys, I'm back in the game . Turns out the problem was with my ecu. I found the problem and fixed it. More testing coming soon....

Just to let you know that I have'nt been able to do more testing because x-mas tied me up a bit and things have just been going bad. In my case I de-selected it but it would automatically re-activate itself. In the settings emulator tab there is a check box \"realtime update always on\" I unchecked it and saved but in stays on matter what. No biggie... the verify and get rom works, which is great!
