I did some runs today and am happy to report that I have the problem almost entirely under control. First I set the fuel cut delay to 800ms. I also set the tip-in to 5%. In order to get no stumble from part throttle to 100% during low rpm the tip-in seems to work best around 20 - 40% but this causes...

Thanks for the reply and explanation. My tip during rapid 100% TP seemes to be corrected at this point. It was just a matter of finding the correct value. Changing the values to display as percentages helped alot.. I didnt know you could do that. I will adjust the column 0 mbar to a lower value to g...

I will have to re-gap my plugs and/or sort out my ignition problem before I can test much on the shifting. I do see what xenocron is describing though. It only happens on very rapid shifts. I can hit the red line and shift slow to moderate and its fine.. its only when I really bang gears such as a t...

By standard I meant standard plug type.. not iridium or platinum or any other 'junk'. I am running BKR6E-11 plugs instead of the OEM ZFR5F-11 because it is one step colder, 6 instead of 5. I have always stayed away from the 4554's because to my knowledge they are all non resistor type plugs and I ha...

Standard NGK at .032.. I am back on the stock ignition since my Mallory CD box burned up. That may be my problem, but I have seen cars run more boost then me on stock ignitions before. I am not running it past 7000rpm. Just hate to put money into a CD box and coil right at the moment to find the pro...

Well, by playing around with the tip in I was able to get the stumble at low rpm to go away. I am still having breakup between high rpm shifts though, which shows as a lean spike on the graphs. I have adjusted tipin between 0 - 80% and still cant get it to go away. Only happens on hard shifts above ...

tip-in and fuel problems

I am sure my newbie status to eCtune has something to do with this but I am having some trouble with tip-in enrichment. I read through some tip-in threads on here but found no resolve to my problem. My car runs lean for just split second when getting on the throttle hard. Say driving around town in ...

I started playing around with this tonight. I get huge pops and back fires (with flame) throughout spool up and boost. I only get about 6psi of boost though. The most aggressive settings I have tried are 6500rpm 50rpm resume 35* retard and 75.00 to fuel. I can try adding more retard to see if I get ...

map tracer lockup

I have just started using r7 and found that while tracing maps during a live tune the tracer will lock while switching from low to high maps. I have reproduced this error a few times. Logging still works fine however the tracer freezes on the low cam map just before cross over. This only happens whe...

Anti-Lag settings

I am new to eCtune but really like it so far. I am just wondering who has played around with the anti-lag and what do you have it set at? I have messed around with launch control rpm from 4500 - 7000 also various timing retard and fuel settings. The best I can get is about 6psi of boost at the line ...
