I have used jun type 3 cams with b20 vtec and almost I had 250 hp... You have very good numbers... But I think jun offers jun type 2 valve springs and retainers for type3 cams only.

You can use non resistor type v-power spark plugs with ectune. we had no problems. but using an iridium type will be better in your setup. but the main problem could be the radio frequency interference in your car could be more than our cars. You can try installing your ignition box away from your e...

he has no problem with different type of spark plugs. I think it is not from the ignition box.

if you are having the problem with non resistor type like your 8's plugs try this one R5671A-8 instead of r6601-8 or try BKR8EIX iridium.

Wheelman wrote:I try to gap the spark plug as much as I can... there were maybe .020, maybe less and still the same. With BKR7E it was OK with gap about .030. I said it feels like a missfire, but I can feel that the ECU cuts it
does it cut hardly or just like misfire and revs to the end?

Wheelman wrote:it feels like a missfire still, it cuts ECU from power or something like that
under heavy boost pressure it is normal with orjinal gap adjustment, you should gap down those spark plugs until engine revs normal without having misfire.

I have used 1600cc with resistor box. You should run richer Air Fuel / ratios. I would prefer, using and injector driver instead of resistor box, to have a better IDLE.
