I get CEL code #1 \"O2 sensor voltage too high or too low\". It has occurred 4 - 5 time in the last year. Last occurrence was a month ago. It happens after letting off the throttle at 7,000-7,500 rpm. I'm using a PLX M Series Wideband. eCtune has closeloop disabled in both Settings and Parameters/Cl...

I have that exact same problem too. It happen when I do any of the following: Connect, Disconnect, Datalog, Disconnect Datalog, any command that results in a real time update/access to the Demon.

I used to get that MSGID 001H error all the time. Each time, I had to contact Calvin and Xenocron about the error, and provide them with the machine ID and receipt of the eCtune purchase. Each time, would take 3-4 days to resolve and was a major pain. Finally after 2-3 times (yes 2-3 months of updat...

On the calibration that wouldn't start, you probably hit ctrl-k while meaning to hit ctrl-j. The former shuts off the injectors. You can see the status by clicking on tools in the menu bar. I below is your file which should work now.

If you run Windows under VMFusion on the Mac it will work. That is my setup right now. However, if you have a Dell, don't bother with the Mac. Tiewoli09: I've use Innovate LC1 with Crome and I'm sure it will work perfectly with eCtune, and also PLX M300 (discontinued) on both eCtune and Crome. They ...

not yet. I was about to order it when my Autometer EGT broke. Not sure if it's the gauge or probe. The needle just whips around wildly.

I tried changing the baud rate in the driver properties. That didn't work. Is there a specific speed I should try?

Same Macbook Air laptop but machine ID changed.

I started running eCtune on a Macbook Air under VMware Fusion 1.1.2. Yesterday I upgraded to VMware Fusion 3.0. I noticed the Machine ID changed. Since I run the Demon, it still works. What worries me is, would that be a problem in the future, especially with the recently posted sticky about ECTUNE ...

I increased retries to 20 and it takes less than 10 seconds. This was on an Ostrich 1.

I'm also running eCtune on a Mac Leopard under VMWare Fusion 2.0. With the Ostrich 1 I could get ROM with difficulty, by increasing the number of retries. However, with the Demon, I can't get ROM. I tried it with a PC based laptop and it worked flawlessly.

I disabled the fuel cut and while driving around, realized that I wasn't making much use of that feature. The car didn't feel any different. With my current map, 1st column is set quite lean. So, decel at high rpms down to 2500rpm gives 19.9 AFR, which is like free air on a PLX wideband. Below 2500 ...

jpjackson, the set up is a JDM ITR engine with a Jackson Racing SC & LHT intercooler. Injectors are 440cc/min. Columns are in inHg. 1st column was not tuned for tipout. I can't really remember why I added to it. It might be to prevent jerking when the fuel cuts in and out during light throttle low r...
