Car is complete except the car does not shift properly. Car shifts the same with or without the TCM connected. I have an obd2a to obd1 jumper harness from rywire and their tech support is no help at all. I am on my 2nd auto the first was obd2 and this one is obd1. Could this just be a bad tcm, wiri...

Looks good man. I bet if you short shifted sooner into second, it will help you out a lot. Also, if you keep breaking tranny parts, I would recommend someone to heat treat them. I have gone through tons of tranny gears and finals and finally got some to hold after the treating. Good job though man.

Took some measurements between a BKR7E and a R5671A-8. On the BKRE7, the insulator is projected past the base end of the plug/shell, by approx. .065\". On the R5671A-8, the insulator is recessed approx. .035\" from the base end of the plug/shell. Approx lengths from tip to tip: BKR7E = 2.975\" R5671...
