are you running loose clearances (Piston to wall) on the motor? or is it gonna be tight? Basically at 500HP on a road course i'd start out rich like 11.0 but I'd probably end up alot leaner by the time I was done dialing it in. if its on good gas, has a good cooling system and theres good piston to ...

heh, I don't know what timing values he used. I can't really comment on his tuning.. either way I made more power ;) .. Apprantly this was the second motor, the previous motor they tried to turn up the boost more and blew the motor. Funny since I did 26PSI on the same turbo setup on the new motor wi...

These ECUs are 10 years old.. They don't have the advanced abilities to hold super duper consistant fueling all the time. Thats why they invented closed loop. If your tune sways alot, first be sure all the correct compensations have been tuned, then turn closed loop back on.

Put like 46-50 degree of timing in the areas that will be tested and this should drastically lower your CO. Also, you have to have a cat thats actually functional. OR, you can retune your car on E85 for a day or so ;)

the interuption in datalogging would most likely be from RF interfearance from your ignition system.. Either run resistor style plugs with NGK plug wires, or remove the MSD.. Otherwise you will have issues, especially if you tune conservative and have even a slight missfire.
