I was digging through my pocket while I have my car key on engine off and accidentally stomped the gas pedal. The cel illuminated and when I took my foot off, the light went out. Of course I did it again. What does it mean? some type of wot detector?

I did find out that when I have my headlights on at idle even if its hot outside or the car is hot, the charging voltage is at 13.8v and it just stays there which is good. I raised my idle to 850rpm to compensate for the idle drop that I'm having, bef...

is it a nippendenso alt? I have had many do this to me; but it would fluctuate between 14.2 and 12.25. Mitsubishi ALT's like to run right from what I have seen. I would check the regulator in the ALT; that's normally the first thing affected by heat; that and the diode array.... Bad reg's in ALT's ...

H engines should also have the B+ wire on the alt, its a thick wire and its bolted to the B+ terminal on the back of the alt. Well I'm still back at square one, I took the alternator off and had autozone test it and its good. I cleaned the alt bracket that bolts to the block, cleaned my grounds agai...

Man it sucks not having a garage, anyway...Bindegal is talking about that skinny wire thats bolted to the back of the alt? besides the B+ plus wire and the 4-plug wire theres a skinny wire bolted on the housing of the alt. Thats the ground wire from the block to the alt?

The alt wire from the fuse box goes directly to the alternator right? like straight shot to the alt? I was tracing it the other day and it kind of goes towards the starter, wrapped in one of those wire looms. Between the humidity and the damn mosquitos I didnt get far.

Checked my cal on hardware settings alt ctrl is not disabled. I got the right battery offset for my RC SL9 440's. I'll try changing the alt wire.
