For some reason, saving the calibration AFTER disconnecting the emulator seems to corrupt the calibration and when re-uploaded nothign works. (verify rom fails before re-uploading). Date of file .cal changes on OPEN instead of on save. So it's hard to check for prio version when the date of the file...

I'm having the same problem. It's especially noticeable on cars with MSD systems. The Ostrich 2 does not show same symtoms though. Looks like the Demon is more sensible to EMI.

because you can't do wideband closed loop on anything other than D14.

what about a bad ostrch 28pin cable ? some pins getting shorted or disconnected could corrupt ?? Vibrations in car, etc... loose socket ??

I retuned an AEM yesterday, and I had to add boost control with HI/LO boost things... took me an hour and a half to figure out what was what and understanding the closedloop boost hysterisi P+I and all that shit.

I had trouble too, but I noticed that my vacuum in decel was much higher than the default in eCtune. I had to put mine at 250mbar, because I dont stay long enough below 178 for the fuelcut to turn on. Also, the datalogging sampling rate is not fast enough to pickup the decel mbar if you record and c...
