I did \"Force Update\" from the previous version on my Desktop PC. It completed successfully. Then I went to open it. I got message saying I didn't have .net 2.0 or 3.5 I did have 2.0 and 3.0 but not 3.5. I searched Microsoft for 3.5 and installed it. Now I get past that error message and get this o...

I did a clean install of Ectune 0.0.2.0r7 but it still does the same thing.

Maybe first removing the eCtune install en removing the old eCtune directory. Then cleaning up the reg with JV16tools: http://www.macecraft.com/jv16powertools2007/ or Ccleaner: http://dutch.ircfast.com/lv/group/view/kl25623/CCleaner.htm Maybe it will help? I dont know..... I tried the first tool......

If you know the names of the files used... can you email me so that I can remove them manually? Barring I purposefully crash my laptop, I won't be able to do a full reinstall..

I did take the license out. With the old license in, I only get an ECTune error (004h) and the application closes normally. With no license, I get the above crash. unfortunately, reinstall on this laptop isn't an option. It's work laptop. I have all Windows Updates installed... .net 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, etc.. everything updated.

I'm already emailing Calvin on this but don't have a solution to the problem yet. I finally got upgraded laptop.. new Dell Precision M90. old laptop is traded in. I tried installing the installer version for 0.0.2.o r6 but can't get into Ectune long enough to register it.. it crashes immediately aft...

on start today it was running in the 11's. I waited for the O2 heater to fully heat before I started so I got an accurate idea. I tried to reduce a few of the ECT trims but I think this is not where it needs adjustment. I also noted that with ECT at 180 and IAT at 50's I was idling in the 14's where...

100F is easy to hit because you can just idle it and hit that temp gradually. I only get 1 shot with 30F unless I pull an all-nighter when it is supposed to hit cold.. by 9am it is already 50-60's and high of 70's by 3pm
