I´m guessing you need to find the wire/wires with that illusive \"voltage drop\". The thing is: As the engine is running and the alternator should be charging the battery, something between those 2 points is introducing some kind of resistance. What surprises a lot of people is the fact that a wire...

Might not be a wire but there will for sure be a ground connection somehow. I´m guessing voltage drop from either the power connection or ground. /Allan

I have seen similar problems from the simple issue of an old/faulty ground wire from generator to block... /Allan

I usually find that ever changing AFR´s are caused by old crappy ground wires or other electrical issues. And yes, in case of bigger injectors, battery comp tables play a big part... /Allan

Jared... you´re rambling :) I have set up a couple of cars (including my own) with the Snow water/meth kit from Xenocron. It seemed to work pretty well. Just get the cheapest one, as you don´t need the fancy controller anyway. They all use the same pump as most other manufacturers. Make the ECU ac...

Nah no pictures really, but nothing much to talk about down there. Some cast-iron log-style manifold and a GT2554 turbo, nice and dirty. /Allan

Parameters, Sensor/Hardware options -Disable STS(Starter Signal) input ...if you don´t have this option available, try pulling out B9 at the ECU. This is pure guesswork on my part, I haven´t seen this problem before, ever.... /Allan

Good you good the logging sorted out. The only reason I can see for the fuel pump to run constantly (when the Off-setting works) is if the ECU somehow thinks the car is cranking. Cranking is detected by the distributor sensors but also there´s a STS Starter Signal input that can be disabled... /Allan

I always use the latest FTDI drivers off ftdichip.com . If you don´t have a COM port... no logging. Bad HULOG? It should at least show up as a device and ask for a driver. However it troubles me that the fuel pump is always-on etc... I hever touched jumpers on my Ostrich2. /Allan

Just as usual, you need to connect your hulog or other datalogger to the ECU when using an Ostrich. There really is no magic way for the logger to connect using a ROM emulator only. If you want one device whicch logs AND emulates, there´s the Moates Demon which connects to both the ROM socket and t...

1) Have you actually uploaded a full ROM to the ECU? 2) Verify MIL (enginge check light). As you turn on the ignition, it should light up for ~2 seconds then flash briefly 1 times or more depending on your version. 3) Is J12 cut? I have a hunch that the eCtune ROM isn´t actually running in your ECU...

Did you do a full upload to the Ostrich from eCtune? Does the ECU light flash differently from your old Crome? The thing is, until an eCtune ROM is in the ECU, you can´t connect to it. /Allan

I use boost cut on every boosted car and don´t have any issues with it as such. Although in some cases it might be nice to allow for a very very short \"overboost\" as some cars can be tricked into a sort of boost spike in some driving in cold weather. The log should show what´s really going on. /...
