Just to update, I passed the test. At idle the values were perfect, but at 2000 rpm CO was way high even though all the other values were good (AFR was spot on). But the guy was cool and printed the results at idle, so no worries for two more years :p I'll probably do a quick retune with stock injec...

Seems like a good, hot intake manifold would help with more complete combustion. I know mine doesn't misfire as much when heatsoaked given same afr. Its -15C outide noe. Kinda hard to build up a nice heatsoak at that temperature ;) I found a bug in the software last week. In rom .62 and .63 is a pr...

Re: High CO?
Hi! I just got the car home from inspection, and I got a feil on too high CO. It was 0,76, and should have been below 0,5 , whatever that means. I dont really know what that means, but the AFR where good (closed loop). The test was taken at 2000 rpm, no load. The weird thing is I had the car tested...

The sputters are more than likely incomplete combustion events.. thats probably why your CO is high. try raising your base fuel pressure up around the 60PSI range retune and try again. This should help you get a finer spray pattern and may improve cumbustion a bit. If this doesn't help then the inj...

EBC on internal wastegate?
Anyone tried running the ebc in ectune on an internally gated setup? I dont have any experience with ebc's, so I dont even know if its possible. But if it might work it would be fun to try

OK, thats nice to hear :) It seems to me like the strap on #1 has been hotter than the rest, but thats maybe just me? I'll be buying a new set of plugs soon anyway, so I'll look closer then. It would have been interesting to see those pics you are talking about, Burgermass. So if you get them it wou...

You were right about the timing causing the boost creep. I gave it 3 degrees more and it was stable again. Today I went to a event and finally got to drive the car hard again :) I didnt notice any pinging or knocking with my ears, and the car acted great, without cracking my manifold. I had tuned it...

So small black specs is not nescessary bad(didnt look like it hat metal in it to me)? Thats kinda making me feel a little lost again, cause thats the only sign of detonation I have seen up to this pont (except maybe the very first pictures). I have never heard anything wich occurs to me as detonatio...

So I took a look at my plugs today through a magnifying glass, and discovered small black specs. Cant catch them through the camera lens, though. So I tried pulling timing, and adding fuel again, but cant get them to go away. And suddenly my wastegate started creeping from 11psi to 13 degrees (can t...

Good to hear, maybe I'm getting a little closer :) At the very first pictures my wideband was showing about 11.5 afr, but I had more timing. And I did try a lot of different maps on those plugs before I took the pictures, so I guess it could have been old specs, IDK how long they are visible...? Thi...

I tried to take a few pictures thats easier to read for you guys today. Found a thread in a forum where they hacked up their plugs after a run to see the color on the porcelain, so I did it on one of my old plugs that looked really lean for me and got pretty surprised when I found a nice coat of bla...

So today I got a little time to play with my car again :) I added a bunch of fuel, and thought I pulled some degrees timing, but my computer decided to crash, and I probably didnt save the changes, cause now that I am home I see that my ignitin map is still the same :p I actually noticed that a cris...
