For what it's worth, in this application a mbc is going to work better for me. The location of the solenoid is critical as temperature fluctuations effect it greatly. These are engine bay temps, not iat. With the 50 degree fluctuations I can not get the boost to stay consistent and to act the same. ...

Opinions on closed loop ebc tweaking
I've been working with this closed loop trying to perfect it. Just how precise is this thing suppose to be? From my understanding of the how-to guide I feel that I may need to do some finer scaling of the target error tables. Looks like the thing is half close where it is now, but would like to see ...

where'd you put the ferrite clamp? Unsure of the effectiveness of the ferrite since they are designed for different frequencies, but on wire bundle with ebc wires, bundles entering bulkhead, egr line at ecu connector, WB input line, usb cables, ect. May have simply been the plugwires, but ferrite i...

My poor engine has seen several configurations. Even with 310 RC's idle wasn't oem smooth, later went oem 240's and it was smooth again - even when I had the turbo paraphernalia in place at a later date. Now with 750 RC's she wants pig rich at idle to smooth out. Even at stoichiometric afr's the exh...

Ethanol in pump gasoline
From my understanding, it was to phase out MTBE in gasoline - to achieve the octane requirements (and clean burn properties?) and to lighten the national demand of gasoline. Who has it now? I think a sticker on the pump is a requirement indicating the 10% blend. Haven't seen any in NC yet. Question ...

Lemme guess, resistorless plugs? Have logs of when it dies? My fueling at part throttle does the same thing, but will only fluctuate 1 point or so, all other variables eliminated - might be the same issue I'm dealing with; EMF interference? Might consider throwing a set of bkr7e's in to eliminate th...

Now I have to figure out what changed since I took it out of service, it was running fine. Ignition - all stock, oem parts except for msd plugwires. P72 ECU, added egr control recently. NGK 5238's Old Ostrich (before they even had a sticker) Old hulog Redundant grounds on engine. 92 EG B18C1 swap I ...

ECU dies at 6000
I know the fuel pump output cuts off because my pump circuit trips. The logs show queer data like there is no power at all. This didn't happen at 8 psi. I think the logs have a story to tell, but I have no idea what is going on, it's definitely not boost cut. The log is long, lost all power as I was...
