sheet. Sorry for AFR being so big... I was in a hurry to get out of there. Also notice smoothing is set to ZERO. As you can see, its still a very conservative tune. First run was 338whp on street tune that was even more conservative. With the extra 48 whp, I'm hoping the car traps 126-127 instead of...

250 ft/lbs or more from ~5200 to ~9200. mmm. It could make so much more but... I'm seriously scared of when he gets the car back. I split the discussion regarding street tuning to a new thread: http://forum.ectune.com/viewtopic.php?t=189

Built 85x95mm B20Vtec 434hp/311tq

I was instructed not to blow this car up under any circumstances. With any less timing than this tune, the ignition would break up massively. R5672-8 @ 0.020\" gap, tweaks done to dwell tables. I honestly think the motor could hit 475 if not 500whp at this boost level. ITR cams are awesome here! Mas...

IACV Error disable not saving

If you click the Disable IACV error box, the setting does not save unless you also move the IACV duty slider. v1.1.8r4 - haven't upgraded yet.

things I've found to help voltage offset: 1. NEVER POWER WIDEBAND FROM ECU POWER!!! At higher RPMs (don't ask me why) the wideband and ECU signals diverge and you'll end up reading artificially lean signals datalogging. 2. ALWAYS tie the wideband signal ground to the O2 signal ground 3. ALWAYS rev t...

Stock sleeve B20/Vtec w/ XS power topmount 386whp/275tq

After fighting with .39 bugs, I ended up missing my dyno appointment. Car ended up going 12.4 @ 123mph on slicks with a pussy launch at 2500 + 2.3 60' Not bad for a quick street tune lol. MADMAX: You're actually kind of wrong. Too rich AFR / too little timing puts too much heat in all the wrong places - you're totally right. However, by doing so the only MECHANICAL pieces that encounter additional stress are the exhaust valves, turbo manifold and turbo wheel. The bearings/crank/sleev...

Honestly, I think you're all right and wrong, to some degree. Hackish is 100% right about motor lifespan running closer to MBT, making power with boost being safer, etc. Everyone else is right about the graph being choppy. 9 / 10 choppy graphs mean MISFIRES. You might not be blowing out spark totall...

can't start datalogging sometimes

I get this message sometimes when I try to Connect for datalogging: \"Cannot invoke method before window created.\" I have a ROM open, I'm generally looking at the tables when I click connect. I saved a screenshot, but it's not on this laptop. Restarting eCtune ALWAYS fixes the problem.

ostrich re-connect behavior

I'm not sure if this is an eCtune bug or a FTDI driver bug, but... If my laptop's power dies, it goes to sleep (suspend) when it wakes back up, datalogging (usually) works fine, but the ostrich will fail. A simple disconnect / reconnect is enough to fix it. Perhaps the default behavior can be to try...

non-numeric characters

Entering non-numeric characters still is producing an exception in 1.3.8r4. This is an issue on the injector screen and elsewhere.
