Is it possible to have an message stating eCtune is parsing the log when you got it switched on? And maybe where to shut is off. That would make things clear and give the user the reason why its loading long and where to shut it off. :D Or maybe an switch when you browse for the log to enable or dis...

It's really useless when you can't personally set the sequence for unlocking the anti-start-device. So I guess it's a personal setting.

Last saturday I had the similar thing. I tried everything in the software trying to solve the problem why the car didnt make any real power. After further searching, the cam timing was a tooth off..... :roll: Yep. And afterwards it was quite simple why! It's not good trying to resolve issue's while...

I also run an SIF (outbound firewall - PFsense) and only have ports 80, 443, 110 and 3389 opend up. Updating works like an charm!

Maybe try and reboot the firewall?

Force update worked here.

I have XP and eCtune starts (r9) without an default CAL and disconnected.

Taskkil is used to kill the task eCtune. If eCtune is still running while updating, can cause error's or failures...

taskkill is a tool used to kill a task. eCtune update could couse a problem when eCtune is still active. It's good when this message appears.
