Nissan ECU guru advice
I know there are some Nissan ECU ninjas on this site so I wanted to ask a few questions as I am confused as the best route. Looking to help a guy on his 240sx. It has a KA24DE engine that he put a turbo on. Right now it is running 450cc DSM injectors off of SAFC neo. The car needs to be chipped so t...

heh, I don't know what timing values he used. I can't really comment on his tuning.. either way I made more power ;) .. Apprantly this was the second motor, the previous motor they tried to turn up the boost more and blew the motor. Funny since I did 26PSI on the same turbo setup on the new motor w...

Maybe when you are switching between maps it is hitting a hole in the map that you had. I took a few mins and smoothed out your low cam map. What I did was flatten out your low cam fuel map to what I would assume to be on the nice and rich side (in the boost areas). I smoothed out and guessed to wha...

One trick I have used is to manually keep the car at idle by using timing. For example: if you have an issue with the car cutting off when coming to a stop, add some timing to the upper left corner. You can also \"box\" in the desired idle with timing also. I used this once to fix a car that would c...

They are quirky when running in low Ms pulses (idle), and especially under higher fuel pressure.... I noticed 'waves' in my fuel tables from this. My car idles like stock and I run them 97% Duty Cycle. These are on the "black tops" (95-99) on a stock fuel rail/FPR with a walboro 255. By any chance ...

Some thoughts about the noise issue since you brought it up: I am using an Ostrich and have concluded that they are just inherently noisey. The test I made to prove it so far is just by comparing it to the stock computer a long time ago when my car was stock. The stock ECU would not interfere with t...

I could not get idle ignition correction to work (the program would not let me input a new value) x101010101 For getting closed loop to work correctly!!! The lookup for wideband voltage is misleading: example, use AEM as wideband on D14. put in 14.7AFR and use the lookup table button. It will give y...

Something is still going on here though. The algorithm that has been solid for tuning eCtune is in this order usually: (guru's can correct me if i'm off) - Load up base map (This should be straight forward) - Crank the car up and let it warm up using the injector calibration window. Just keep the AF...
