supposedly FAS is \"forced auto stop\", im not exactly sure how that works, but a buddy of mine said the TCU is probably on its way out, i reset the computer (pulled both fuses) and the code is gone, so just gotta see if it comes back or not.

auto trans support, fault code with ectune

So yes im the guy thats doing the boosted auto setup. The reason i went with ectune is because everyone told me that calvin programmed in the auto trans functions into the program. Since i started with my chipped ecu from crome (Which had no auto trans support for the lockup solenoid) and making the...

Typical IACV duty cycle

Hey guys, just a quick question for those who still have their IACV hooked up, whats the typical duty cycle you see when viewing ectune at idle? Typically in the negative numbers?

i dont have any cheerios here, just lucky charms and cinnamon life, side note though, i mayyyy have figured out the issue here with the lean restart. Ive always had my FPR hooked up to the vac side of the blower, not normally an issue, but, at idle the IACV is constantly making adjustments, one thin...

i dont even know what the fuck is going on anymore, its lean on a hot restart, and its rich in all the other places as it gets hotter, the new ICM made the car feel more consistent with timing, but as far as the AFR, its all over the place. It seems to be getting richer by gear, which ive never noti...

good news today, replaced the ICM with a wells/airtex icm just now, car fired right up, so im very happy with that now. Didnt realize these ICM's have heatsinks on them, basically like computer parts and such. The old ICM had barely any thermal paste from the heatsink to the backplate, so i whipped ...

ive accepted that, whats bothering me is these weird fuckin afr's that make no sense, if the car got richer as it got hotter, i would understand it, air density lessens the hotter it gets sitting at idle, you need less fuel, i could just program that in the ECT and IAT tables, but the thing is, its ...

if its anything related to what most topics say on HT, its because of the fact that i replaced the coil, not from the dwell setting change, dwell varies regardless thats the reason there is a huge table for it with all different numbers across the board.

Well im actually down for the count right now, had to get towed home yet again. Went for inspection the other day, drove it in fine. After sitting in the line for about a half an hour the car gradually started to lean out while sitting at idle for some reason, ECT and IAT was both normal so no issue...
