forgot to mention that the MIVEC has high and low cam just like the honda's vtec sound the same too .... two more days till dyno time

Usually everyone over looks the fuel filter. When was the last time you changed it? or maybe your IACV needs cleaning

A bit about the car and the set up: LS/vtec (completely stock) Make sure you check your piston to valve clearance, you might have to grind out the valve grooves in the piston some more (wider+deeper) to avoid bending a valve when you hit vtec.
