Almost any honda can benefit from a fuel pump rewire. You got to think, any car manufacturer will save money if not needed to make the car work. Also they never plan for after market add ons. It's an economy car after all. I too also noticed a difference, and I've got a 99 hatch, so it's not just on...

I was just hoping that how I worded everything didn't confuse anyone. I tried to make it the simplest explanation possible.

Your dead tells closeloop when to start working. E.g. 1.5psi, target 10psi, Closeloop will work at 8.5psi. Then you are undershooting at he will start to increase duty. That way you don't want closeloop undershoot to work to fast This is what mine looks like for reference: http://farm3.static.flickr...

Here's just a random question. Are you also using the serial input from your wideband and does your datalogging icon start flashing very quickly when this \"sync\" problem is occuring? If it is, it could possibly be a port assignment type problem (I don't think that's the correct terminology, but yo...

Actually, what I meant to say was I've never had that problem with any of the revisions. I was at work when I made that first post, just thought I'd clarify.

When using r7 I used to always key-on/off. I usually stop for gas and just leave it running (the program not the car), it would always just reconnect automatically, no problems at all.

With those same exact posted steps I also got the same error as Xenocron. No crash though, just an error.

Instead of guessing how much fudge room there is, you need to sort it out and fix the problem. No two leaks are going to be the same so there's really no way to ballpark it. That's just my two cents...so take it for what it's worth. How is your wastegate placed since you said it's oddly placed? Also...

Are you getting any type of message with it not connecting? Do you have it on auto-detect? Try manual and click your port and see if that helps. If you take a screen shot of your settings and post them, that could also help in the process of troubleshooting.
