I too have been using eCtune for quite a while now (bought it pre-release) and as I have said before always with great success. A few minor glitches here and there but never had any issue with how the car has run. To answer your question, before switching to the \"other\" software I tried 3 differen...

Ah yes must be all in my head I have nothing better to do than sit here and complain about a software that is perfectly fine. Funny thing is though, I downloaded the other (won't mention no names) software and tuned with it this morning. I have been running around with this chip for a couple hours n...

DK : It's a factory map sensor in the stock location. When I had my 2.5 bar map sensor installed I never cut the wiring cause they were factory replacement sensors, they installed into the stock location using the stock plug. As for scaling, it's a stock map sensor, I just chose it in the drop down ...

A lot of problems
Well went out to attempt to tune my car again today. ECT corrections just don't work for me, the car won't read anything in the boost portion of the map, I'll floor it and it will shoot to the last NA column follow that column all the way down. I'll make 5psi at 4000rpm and it will just follow the l...

Ok checked it with a multimeter started the car up and let it run about 20 minutes voltage at the ecu 14.2 - 13.9 the whole time. Pulled the altenator and battery out and will be having them check tomorrow. I inspected the harness for loose wires at the altenator and nothing loose there. Also inspec...

Cause lord knows it could never be a software issue Hey maybe datalogging not being able to record any boost issue is a mechanical problem as well. I am pulling out the altenator later and will have it and the battery tested tomorrow. I will make sure all the connections are good and clean as well. ...

I haven't done anything to any wiring since my turbo install about 7 years ago. All my connections are soldered and covered with heat shrink tubing. Never had any issue like this until just recently. The car is a 99 but it only has 28,000 miles on it. I can pull the altenator and have it checked but...

I have been having the same problem (amongst others) and what I realized is for some reason you have to keep the values in your cells under your target idle higher than your idle to keep it from dying. What I did was go into the Parameters > injector calibration and kept adding fuel to the injector ...
