I am using a Mac solenoid from Xenocron. The solenoid is not close to the manifold. I have a feeling the solenoid may be the issue, the change in DC was just wayyyyyyy to drastic too fast. I will know Friday if that is my issue or not.

I went ahead and ordered another solenoid to try. The wastegate acts fine by itself. The ecu is still working, and I cant see how the hardware would just not work (also confirmed by bugermass). I have a feeling that the solenoid itself might be sticking.

Hmmm, was it similar to this in that all of a sudden it took a lot less duty cycle to run the same boost levels? Like in my case where 28% was 20psi dead on in the past and now 20% is 21-22 psi?

Boost control issues with solenoid... HELP!!

Alright guys, I have been using eCtune for over a year now and have been running the Solenoid for about 5 months. Up until now it has been extremely consistent and worked flawlessly. Two days ago I was on a long (roughyly 3 hours of driving) cruise doing quite a few pulls. It was fine for about the ...

I'm actually going to try a write-up later when the weather agrees with my car. It rained for 2 straight days, now its snowing. :? The 2 main culprits you'll be adjusting: the [scalar] value for the 1st vac column and the value for min mbar in the fuel cut window. This is how you get the initial va...

I prefer to use a good MBC and set it high, run a hose from the top port of the wastegate to inside the car hooked up to a brake bleeder vacuum pump with the chamber in place - that lets the wategate valve travel without significantly altering the pressure on the upper side of the diaphragm. Suck a...

Updates?

When doing the resent force update, upon completion it said \"upgraded to version 2.2r7\" but when I open up eCtune it says 2.2r8. Then I noticed that the rom version still shows 63 instead of 64. Is this right?
