mine does the same thing. i just dissabled ELD. just like you said it will idle funny when the ELD code is present. once ELD is dissabled it idles a little better. i dont care for the ELD as long as the engine runs/performs properly. i would not worry much about it.

once you select sync timing you are supposed to physically go outside and move the distributor. once you are done you end the sync timing......its not fully automatic if that is what you are thinking. the sync timing feature just disables all the ignition corrections so you can properly set your bas...

t-stat is fairly new....but a t-stat does not control maximum ECT the cooling fans/rad does. once the t-stat opens it's job is done. the t-stat was not stuck closed if that is what you were thinking. i have 2 cooling fans. and the fan switch is also new. the fans were pretty much on all the time esp...

ECT. how hot is too hot?

hey guys. just wondering what kind of ECT everyone is seeing? i have ECT overheat protection enabled with ectune at 215f. and just today after about a 1.5hour long drive mostly on the highway with the a/c on it was fine. no issues until i pulled off the highway into the city traffic i hit the overhe...

you create a new basemap using the new basemap creator tool in ectune.....you enter all that information you just said and it will do everything for you.

i dont know what happend to the original cal file but i made a totally new base map. imported all the fuel/timing maps and set all the settings and the a/c works properly now. it was very strange. if i load the old cal onto the ostrich the a/c wont work. if i load the new cal on wich is identical it...

no i havent used any of ectune's input features. i will make a whole new cal file and just import my maps and try over again.....this is strange.... i dont see any settings in my cal that mentions B5 ac request. oddly enough that was the terminal my helms manual had me check and said to replace ecu....

hey Calvin I'm not sure if you are aware or if any other users even bothered to check their a/c system out yet since no one uses it during the winter months of testing. now that the weather is getting a little nicer out here I'm sure you will find more users/testers with this issue. steps to re-prod...

under fuel and ignition corrections you will find fuel trims. there is a TPS Tip-In correction. adjust accordingly and try again.

hey calvin does the length of USB cable have any issues with dissconecting? mine is about 10 or 12 feet long curled up under the passengers seat then plugged into a small usb hub....?
