Civic VTI-Turbo wrote:I see your problem... set the revlimiter to only ignitioncut.
I did both. Same outcome other than the exhaust/wastegate being less obnoxious with fuel cut used instead of ignition cut.

you have to tune the engine and setup everything to where it needs to be. Datalog then analyze the data and make changes. Then go back out and datalog again until its where it needs to be. how do you know fuel cut is not working correctly? Have you datalogged to find out where its cutting or not cut...

your fuel cut can be set in the fuel cut parameters window. I disable fuel cut and tune tip out/deceleration. but to change that number, double click on it.

doesnt really matter what other engines have previously had as a vtec threshold. You tune the engine as you see it. Did the same thing with ALL h22's (stock cams) that have cold air intakes. ALL of them like vtec around 4200-4300.

is your car boosted? What is your setup? after reviewing your log, it doesnt make any sense lol. I'm seeing 22psi boost at 3500rpm with only 70% throttle and a 13.5:1 AFR.

I'm pretty sure the falling off thing is the platium plugs, I love the 2669's, they work great. I won't use anything else in my own car. I put the set i used to tune my car orginally in a buddies car, they've got a bunch of dyno time, tons of starting from moving my car in and out of the shop(on e9...

its all a matter of opinion and what works best for you. you can narrow the log overlay to one area of the map or overlay data at all times in all areas of the map.
