I think you'll be fine, demon serials are OS independent.

i am back up and running, where is the update list for what was fixed? was the normally open and normally closed for the ebc fixed? I guess only expire date was "fixed". No, you were saying that fuel cut keeps going on and off, doesn't stay steady. This also happened to me because at some time (and by analyzing the datalog files) the intake manifold pressure exceeded the map value that was set in the fuel cut options, so I've increased that value and went way better...

In my case increasing the mbar value of fuel cut, solved that on off loop.

You're missing the point, it wasn't the force update you did that locked the system, it's locked because current ectune version has expired and Calvin hasn't released a new version yet, valid for another month. This policy it's needing some adjustments.
