moates.net in file menu--> read chip
Go to file menu, moates.net, and the option i have available is \"read chip\" i was wondering how this works? I've had an ectune chip that i have been wanting to get the .cal off of for almost 2 years, but not able to do it with pro license. How is this feature used? Can i get the .cal off the chip ...

thank you, but how do i actually re-register lol. thats my problem. do i send an email to calvin? do i do it through ectune software? ostrich reset app? in another thread someone mentioned about sending an email to [email protected]. I did that, but not sure if there is an easier way.

O2 sensor code being thrown, even though closed loop disable
This has been hapening the last little while. My car is throwing primary o2 sensor code, when i check error codes in ectune. MIL is on. i can clear the code, and it will come back on a few days later. Closed loop is disabled on my .cal file..so why is this still able to come on??? Calvin can you hav...

Pro_ostrich expires in less than 1 week???
When i load ectune, it tells me this message. Pro_ostrich will expire in less than 1 week. your license will expire on 30/07/2009. It doesn't say what i have to do to update it though. i couldn't find what to do, i just did a quick search on forum, and came up with nothing.

well i see low values (do't know off the top of my mead, i think around 160 ish when decelrating) then like mementioned they spike up for a bit. I just found it wierd that even though my map went to 225mbar, and my mbar on fuel cut was set to 250, fuel cut still turned off.even though i never touche...

i have read it over..several times thanks. Alot has changed in the ectune code as calvin has been updating versions. i tried to contribute to the wiki, but it said i needed to be authorized by calvin..so i submitted an auth request.. pm'd you too calvin about it.i'd like to help since this has been my only complaint about ectune from the beginning. Its easy to complain ..its much harder and more effective to do so...

does anyone else have a datalog where when u let off gas, mbar goes to say 195-215 ish...then suddenly blips to 225 ish..and causes fuel cut to disable. also what should \"Above (minimum) rpm\" be set to? like shouldnt this be like 1200rpm or something...because say your in fifth gear and you slow t...

nah calvin, it stillw asnt working before my seal blew on my crank, which i have yet to repair. i tried mbar at 225, 235, 240. if you look at my logs, my mbar would go to like 213 ish when i let off the gas..then it just ocasionally blips to 225...and fuel cut flickers, then it goes back to 215mbar ...
