Yeah but it would take a lot of time to get the timing and fuel maps where you need them. It's easier to start with a stock rom.

calvin wrote:yes it's easier.. And fuel maps need to be tuned always
Oh yeah I was just saying it would be fairly close to start tuning with. I know I hate starting with a map that won't even let the car stay running at idle. Then you know your going to be there for awhile.

Or to transfer over your ECU/Ostrich to each car...you cant drive 2 at once anyways :) Nope that won't work the Ostrich is paired to the specific eCtune calibration. You will need 2 seperate Ostrich units or the Dealer License... Your making the single user version to restrictive to be worth it. Wh...

Hmmm I own two cars. How will that work? I have no way of just burning a chip. So I would have to leave my ostrich in the car? Sorry if all this has been answered. :o I read some more I guess you guys are just making sure someone doesn't buy a personal version and tune ten cars a month with it that ...

Should be good to have. I might do a F22 with an H22 head in June. well you would want to start with an h22 base then? Lower the rev limit for the f bottom end with a long stroke it won't like hi revs. But the displacement is close to the h22 so you should be sort of close on the generated fuel map...

Are F series engines in the basemap maker?

I was just wondering In the guide you can't see the whole list. If not how would I start making my map?

I'd like to build something like that using an F22a1 block with an h22 head. Looks like it would be a real lively backroad aka road racing engine. Could you add the oilsquirters to an F block as well?

From the screen shots it looks like it will be more helpful I like how it's displaying about every sensor and function on the engine. It's more of a tuning tool then anything else Ive seen. I'm glad I never bought crome pro. I just couldn't really justify buying crome just for datalogging when Freel...
