Some issuses hoping this forum is active enough for some tip

I recently just changed out my oil pump.. Checked everything and fired it right up..oil pressure is good, after the car got fully warmed, fans kicked on all that good stuff, i took it for a drive, drove it alittle bit to watch the pressure and when i got ready to get on it, and did get on it, it pul...

No leaks at all, I keep my bay clean, and I do add about a quart or less in between oil changes, which is pretty normal. If I don't beat on it , it requires no oil added.

Second note: automater gauges, they can be inaccurate or become inaccurate. I have seen 5 off the shelf units hooked to the same source reading different values... When it came to being an automotive mechanic I only trusted my snapon oil pressure tester.... The gauge is more trustable IMHO. Btw: so...

did this issue just happen or has this been the norm since the motor was built? is the gauge old? Actually the gauge isn't that old, maybe 7 months , if that, it was bnib.. I did talk to donf about this,.. i was getting around 90psi at 9k and was getting a good amount of psi at idle around 15-25ish...

First suspect is the used oil pump... Unless you opened it and inspected the pump gears it is up in the air. The gauge; that's hard to say anything about without seeing it in person. On some old motors it wasn't uncommon to see ~10psi when hot and idling. Maybe the relief is opening early... But I ...

..Strange Oil pressure problem.

I don't wanna jump to conclusions so i'll just get some different inputs. I'm running a fully built b20vtec, but that shouldn't be of really any concerned, most people ask what motor so i'll just tell you.. Its got a new ITR oil pump / water pump.. about 9 months old or so.. Anyway. I have a GE sand...

heh, I don't know what timing values he used. I can't really comment on his tuning.. either way I made more power ;) .. Apprantly this was the second motor, the previous motor they tried to turn up the boost more and blew the motor. Funny since I did 26PSI on the same turbo setup on the new motor w...

on 93 or 91? if its on 93 and its turboed i'd shoot for 11.5-11.8AFR at wot.. if its on 91, i'd run it a tad bit richer then normal, Leanest i'd accept is 12.0's..

OutSTANDING gains.. Cromepro isn't a bad product for a mostly stock tune or a basic bolton setup.. when you get more in depth like turboing, it becomes less steller a program to use.. I've used alot of products, i'd say ectune is the best by far..

so which is actually better for the motor, considering, fuel cut is a stock setting..

Smooth that map out, that 4th column is pretty messed up. Lines should never cross, if it keeps wanting crossed lines play with the injector offset. Those timing maps also need work, way to conservative, thing has to be slow, your missing almost 10 degrees of timing in your tenth column of your hig...

Question, dont think i'm stupid..

I'd really like to know the purpose of the secondary maps.. is this so ectune can support two tunes - E.I. one tune for 10 psi, one tune for 15psi? I was just looking at the secondary maps on my own motor and hoping that if i leave it on primary, it wont fuck anything up?? i'm just trying to learn, ...
