500HP LS Turbo ;)

Post by Bugermass »

I finally got a chance to finnish tunning a customers car today. LS Weisco Pistons Crower Rods Stock Sleeves Custom Regrind Cams 60-1 with 3in outlet All custom piping Tiny little intercooler ;) Q16 Racegas Its been driving around on pump for a while at 16PSI was making 360 or so, finally got around to putting race gas in it and putting some pressure in it. I was gonna try for like 550 but we maxed out the 3bar so I set max boost at 28PSI and left it at 500. Graph coming later today, gotta get it scaned.. I'll post the binfile in the tuner section..

Yea it was 12.5 exactly at lower boost but around 26-28 it started to lean a bit towrds 12.9 or so, but its perfectly safe for this fuel.

Forgot to post, but the customer took out the car sunday night and I ran a 11.39 in it on M/T drag radials.. Car was pulling hard to the left all the way down the track cause I couldn't get both tires to spin on the burnout. Then the next pass I turned up the boost a little in 3rd, did a bad ass john force burnout but broke an axel off the line when I launched lol.. mabey next weekend we'll have it back together and try to break into the 10s on Stock SLEEVE LS TURBO WOOHOOOOO!!!!

I wouldn't go over 550 on stock sleeves. around 600 seems to be the breaking point.

Does the head still stock, no porting with stock size valves?

Exactly! What most people don't realize is how well honda heads flow in the OEM configuration; unlike alot of other manufacturers that restrict the engine from the factory by the head design =)
