Stock sleeves? Care to share the map? Nice numbers! I'll see soon how my s366 likes 23psi on 93 octane. I love to see people pushing further on pump gas, that's great!

nice setup and great HP! i just finished tuning my friends similiar setup last night: Stock sleeve GSR Motor 9:1 JE pistons, Crower Rods Stock head S2 IM, Stock TB PTE SC6162 3\" Full exhaust 750cc Precision 600hp intercooler Crushed bent 2.5\" intercooler piping. Car made 424whp on 19-20 psi only reving to 8K rpms. If i could have reved it another 500-1K rpms it would have picked up another 20+whp. Over the winter we're going to redo the intercooler piping, bigger TB, Bigger injectors, Type R or S2S1 cams, Springs and retainers to rev it to 9K cuz power wasnt falling off. What kind of timing were you running on pump? 1st i was at 12* and it was barely touching 400whp. turned it up to 14* and it made 424whp. plugs looked good so i left it like that and didnt go up any further with timing.

Without the meth kit they produce about 320whp/340wtq on pump gas. Its a nice autox turbo, DD as well...but still drops off pretty hard up top. I want to see this turbo on an sti with Cams....

What is the fascination with making numbers on pump gas?

I used to wonder the same thing and honestly never pushed pump gas cars because race gas is so readily available. On my daily destroyer it sees pump gas mainly and driving it so much has made me dial it in on a daily bases. On my setup, the street tires can't take more than 12psi right when you click it into 3rd but it can take ~20-24psi at the top of 4th depending on tranny. Low 20psi range via a 80 lb/min wheel is pushing it a bit on 92/93 octane but it needs that kind of power from time to time. I hate feeling a fwd dead hook and nose over. My car has constant, consistent controlled wheel speed, 1st - 4th. Its hard to beat a car sitting next to you that is pushing the tire limitations the entire race. I think its great that people push their setups, I push my setups, most customers.. not so much. ;)
