That is impressive! Paint the intercooler black and you'd have a heck of a sleeper too!

I see you all are liking the ngk 9s, most of our honda's love em! Care to share the map? I'm interested in your timing figures as I have done a few high whp non vtec setups lately that I was very impressed with them, on the street and track.

The 9's are nice, have to gap them a bit tight for the stock ignition but they do the job. They timing up top was around 11.5-13. I picked up a bit of power (about 10whp) from just running 10.5 - 11.5 but its not really worth it IMO on the 93 gas. There should be a good amount of power left with more timing, more boost, and race gas. I really want to sell the car though as I recently bought a c5 z06, and want to spend more time open tracking that, and would also like to start a new drag project. I will post the map up next time I am on my tuning laptop.

only reason i ask is because i just street tuned a setup a lot like that and the turbo took forever to reach full boost. sc63 T3 hybrid - .96AR on 12psi they are OBX cams  and im figuring the overlap was too much causing the built up boost to go straight out the exhaust valves. he's getting some cam gears so i will test them out at 0,0 and with the exhaust cam advanced to reduce overlap once we get on the dyno. How well do you think your motor \"likes\" revving out to 8000? lol

Actually I rev the motor out to 8600, the dyno was off a slight bit. I just wish the LS had its rockers secured a bit better than the ball and cup design. O well, it seems to enjoy it so far (knock on wood). How long it \"really long\" to spool? Like where did it hit 12 pounds?

5000-5500. I was expecting it to spool a little later but not that far. A big problem he has as well is that he has a 2.5\" DP and exhaust....

I could see that, my car doesnt hit 20 pounds until that range with a smaller exhaust housing and such. The LS head just doesnt move air like a vtec can. Are you still going to use the OBX cams?
