I have used jun type 3 cams with b20 vtec and almost I had 250 hp... You have very good numbers... But I think jun offers jun type 2 valve springs and retainers for type3 cams only.

Same engine, other dyno. This time a US style Dynojet. Image A whopping 222 WHP!

very nice. im working on a Hi compression big cam B16 and need some help with a good start in the timing map. would you mind posting some screen shots of the timing table.

I think this wideband must be way off. hardly possible to make this kind of power with 14:1

Thank you. im mainly interested in idle ignition for big cam cars as of right now. i looked threw a lot of cals and noticed most sit at stock 16.5 degrees at idle. my mentor said
A motor can only pull so much vac depending on the cam. You keep adding timing until you stop seeing an increase in vac. No point in adding more timing if the vac does not change.
i ask this because i have this b16 in high 40's at idle and i feel im doing something wrong, i kept adding timing and it kept getting lower in KPA. it does have crower stage 2 and 3/4 cams and valve train. My biggest issue is timing as i feel i still dont understand other then what the dyno can tell me after pulls. I do read plugs but not as often as i really should.

Idle ign is like stock at 16,5 degrees. runs fine.

Just to be safe. With this kind of engine, I always activate the 11th column to be sure that if it reads from this 11th column it reads the right values. I thought Calvin made something to avoid wrong readings but I just want to be sure.
