eCtune

Hi. I get ectune pro license. I install the software and create a base map for a honda civic D16Y7 TURBO. I upload the cal. but the engine could not start. There no Spark in the ignition coil. Then I remove the Etune cal.and put the crome file and the engine Start. I use a P06 with vtec conversion kit and work with crome but I don't know what happens. It is as if it did not have icm signal. Please I need some help with this.

The Cal is there. The injectors are 360 cc

I'm not able to look at the .cal because I'm at work. But just want to mentions this: Did you pick the correct ECU when creating your base-map?

that could be it.. which 360 injectors? if your injector is not listen leave in stock

Yep, for some reason, eCtune always starts the CAL with 0% in the Overall Fuel Trim, not very intuitive if you ask me. put 100% in that box and you should be good to go.

Ok. I do that, but the injector is not the problem. The problem is that there is NO IGNITION FIRE!. I select a P06 becuase this is my ECU, but does'nt work. I do this test; I put another ECU Type (P28) in the ECU type, because the (P06) have a Vtec Convertion Kit and don't work. This ECU Work perfectly with Crome. The emulator connect with out problem and the Hulog. If the are the problem injectorcal the car can start very Rich or lean. in this case Dont'n Start. OK; my ignition don't have the blue wire for the tach; It's there a problem? Somebody have a OBDII B ignition work With Ectune. -Thanks for reply me-

100% more fuel xenocron? 0% is 0% more fuel on top of everything don't mix it with multiplier 1 multiplier 1 is 0% multiplier 1.99 = 99%

you have a conv harness? i know obd2b needs a extra jumper for the ICM cable. I can look up the pinout but not now

yes you are right, I use multiplier so I got confused

Hi, Calvin.I made another test. I test a Stock P28 Chipped. The engine start with the emulator and eCtune P28 base map. With the engine run I made the adjustment in the injector fuel trim and the engine run in the Stoich range. I stop the engine to set the MIL funtion because the MIL lamp was on. When I crank the engine to start. The damn engine don't start. The same problem. Then put a chip, burn with crome and the engine start. I removed the software before the test and reinstal it again. I test the P06 and the engine run With a chip. It,s the emulator the problem?

What code is it throwing?

somehow I wonder if the ostrich is even getting programmed with any data or something.... sounds like a solid CEL when trying to use eCtune

I test the P06 in a 95 Honda Accord with H22A and it work with out problem. The engine start with the Emulator and eCtune and dataloging the engine. The problem is something in the civic or in the harness convertion? Why the engine start with a crome CHIP and not with eCtune? Anybody install eCtune in a Civic 99-00 CX, DX, EX, LX. The MIL codes are 21 and 41, but at the this time, I disable the heater and the Vtec presure and the CIVIC don't start with eCtune.
