P2p d16y8 maps for P28 ecu basemaps on ectune

Post by combz »

Has anyone selected and tried these maps? If you pull 1 degree per psi, the timing in the high cam map is like 8* at 8 psi... my car felt like a bag of ass with the timing this low, d16y8. it actually ran quite hot until i started adding some timing in. anyone else with experiences using this for a base map on a boosted y8? also the timing curve is differnt on the hi and low cam maps. the shape of the high cam map is also strange on the p2p maps, its peaks timing at 4000-5000 rpm, thern starts to drop off. i just think all this is very wierd.

you want to start off with at least 24 degress of timing in the last n/a colum in the higher revs. and work your way down for there 1 deg/psi. you should be at 16* and 14* in the last colum (10 psi) jsut use stock d16z6 timing map and remove a little timing from it works fine
