Hey Just wondering on what ignition setups would be recommended other than stock? Thanks in advance!! :)

My only recomendation is oem. If you must use msd, mount the box in the trunk, and run their wires to the front of the car away from the oem engine harness, except where your hooking it in... They put out an ungodly amount of emi. I bet 90% of the msd box issues are because they didn't follow the directions and mount the box as far away as possible like the instructions say. Instead they mount it across from the distributor where the emi goes directly into the inductive pickups, or worse in the glovebox which is closer to the ecu... and it causes a world of pain. Damned ricers XD

For what it is, the OEM setup works amazingly well when in good shape. What some users don´t think about is that their stock distributor is probably 10-15 years old and can barely suffice for an NA motor. Add boost, and misfires are a´plenty. Replace with new or rebuilt OEM distributor, and you´re good :) /Allan
