Post by civic4g »

Hi My TB has EVAP \"nipple\" and hose connected to canister, if I buy a new TB without EVAP nipple it's OK to have the hose venting to atmosphere or because the the associated danger should I find an alternative way no connect it? Where please. Thanks in advance.

There won't be any issues with leaving the pipe off but if your very concerned then you could plumb it in to the air intake pipe.

Leave it disconnected; it won't hurt much but the environment when the pcs is active. Most obd2 models flowed the evap in a different manner than obd1.

My first concern wasn't the environment, I was concerned with the flammability of the gases, is that not an issue?
