New Aeromotive 340 Pump..

Just wanted to post some results.. I just got done testing one of these pumps in a B series turbo civic. The setup was GSR, 84MM Bore, Full Race Ramhorn with a PTE6262 on E85 Type-R cams, stock head. On E85 with FIC2150 injectors and a 60PSI base pressure, I was able to make 498HP@20 PSI of boost before running out of fuel around 8200RPM.. (limiter was 9,000) I lowerd the base pressure to 35PSI and was able to run another 5PSI of boost netting 565HP just running out of fuel again @ 8700RPM. (Running out of fuel I mean couldn't hold a steady 12.5:1 AFR anymore.) This is on our mustang dyno (reads pretty low in general). I was agressive with fueling as E85 is perfectly happy this way, but didn't have all the timing in it yet. I may have had another 3-4 deg left to go up top but was having issues with the cooling system and had to stop. I'd imagine with a boost-a-pump and timing all in this thing could probably do 600HP+ without a problem..

If fits exactly like a Walboro255 so its an easy upgrade in any application where a walboro would normally be used..

you set the pressure higher if you run out of injector... You set it lower if you run out of pump

I understand the injector bit but not the pump

The answer's probably staring me in the face.

The pump can flow more with less pressure demand.. Look at the flow chart..

Wow that's great results. Too bad I went dual walbros. I guess when I max out the walbros I'll step up to 2 of these pumps.

Damn Chris, if this jewl can make almost 600 on e85, Wonder what it could make on some 112/116, 750?! Any idea of pricing? Thanks for taking the time Chris, DK
