0-5v 02 mod...
Was wondering how i would go about modding my ecu to use a 0-5v o2 (from wideband... duh) told there is some simple mod? also... my wideband has 2 outputs... should i use Not buffered: Can not sink or source any current or a Buffered: Can sink or source up to 25[mA] voltage output? thanks.

Totally agree my innovate LC-1 reads from 0v=7.35 to 5v=22.39 Therefore 22.39-7.35=15.04AFR range Divide this range by 5 volts=3 AFR for every 1 volt change. ECU maxes out at 3.83 on D14 THEREFORE 3AFRx3.83v=11.49AFR + the initial 7.35AFR the innovate starts at =18.8AFR is the max the ECU will read with a scale of 0v=7.45 and 5v=22.39 (You can confirm this when you back off the throttle, logworks will show 02 content and your ECU will show 18.8 ) Use this formula to work out what you ECU will max out and where you need to scale. (or not scale at all) I leave mine at factory settings, why would you need to read below 7.35 or above 18.8 anyways? People do say that the D14 gets inaccurate at the extremities of its voltage ranges HOWEVER the range we want to see, say 11-16 should be very accurate. I have tested this against logworks and everything matches up perfectly! I did not know we could use D10 ELD (Would have to work out how to configure freelog for this output) on a side note why bother cause it works great as it is on D14. P.S If you are having accuracy problems try rescale so your AFR doesn't increase so much compared with voltage. E.g. 2AFR for every 1v change could be better. You ECU will max out at a lower AFR tho, unless you use D10agreed... what you have to consider is what A/F is actually represented by 3.8-5V... most of the time it's values that you hopefully never see anyway.
