All Motor B-series new times 7-26-09

Post by disco monkey »

Street tuned the car on eCtune on Saturday. Went to Montgomery, Al. for the Import Face Off race on Sunday (5-31-09). I ran my best time at 2:00pm in probably 90-95ish degree weather. 60'.......1.714 330'.....4.885 1/8mi...7.514 MPH.....93.61 1000....9.791 1/4......11.720 MPH.....114.57 Car is a '90 CRX I was on 23x8x13 MH slicks and shifting to 5th right before the 1/4 (car has a 4.9 FD). Need to step up to 24.5 slicks. Also the car has gotten high 1.5 and low 1.6 60' times before on a stickier track. I also won the Import Face Off All Motor class that Sunday. :D (New times further down)

84.5mm x 89mm LS/VTEC DFE ported/polished GSR head and Benson sleeved LS block. Skunk2 Pro 2 cams 12.5:1 CP pistons on Manley rods. Performer X w/ 70mm Skunk2 throttle body. 93 Octane SMSP B19 header 2.5\" exhaust Full front interior, no rear interior. Stock hood, hatch, and full glass. Sunroof removed. And for the track I ran Open Header, ran the intake out the headlight w/ velocity stack and removed the passenger seat. Motor has been running for nearly 4 years and weekend driven and occasionally daily driven. And it was on crome pro up until Saturday. Previous fastest time was 11.85 using crome pro and full exhaust and no intake out the headlight and about 30 degree cooler weather at the same track at IFO in January 09.

How did you like the eCtune program? Was it easy to tune with?
