The previous engine B20 vtec had made 240 whp/163lbft but the oil cooler had a leak, engine ran low on oil and got damaged. So the B18 was reinstalled as this was the bottom half that ge used to win his class championship last year. The B20 setup was very powerful... only wish he had more seat time with it.... i cant waite to see what lap times he will do when the B20 setup is ready again.

skunk2 stag3 tuner cams are too big for this kind of engine. Maybe 86x95, but anything less with will loose power and torque untill 8000rpm compared to skunk pro2 cams. i also have a dyno plot to proove it, the car is owercammed :!:

well not in this case you are wrong :!: not every setup is the same not sure what you did wrong maybe u need to degree and dial in the cams or maybe yur compression is too low ... we used 12.5:1 pistons but the head was skimmed bring the compression to about 13:1 or a little more :D The car made good torque and mid range power... not lacking anything anywhere and the linear power proved it at the track. 8)

cr was 12.6:1, 85x89mm cams dialed on a dyno... whatever, if you think they make a good job, good for you.i know Larry Widmer the owner of Endyn told me few years ago skunk2 stage3 were first developed and used in accord racing team in h22 engines for circuit races with great success. Then skunk2 copied lobes and lift for b series engines but Larry told me every b series engine will be overcammed with those cams. i never knew untill i bought my own dyno and tested them myself...

you need more than 12.6 cr to get good results out of those cams. lets see your dyno plot

Very respectable times at dover... Just for reference there is a well built and track tuned 450+ WHP EG civic running at the same track and the time to date is 1:27:xxx This car is running up there with many cars which are more powerful RWD/4WD configurations. Congrats to you and your team Fah..
