Your ecu will function fine without that. Im not 100% sure what it is, but I have chipped many ecu's with and without it and they all ran fine.

okok.. but what parts am i missing now? i can see on the link he is using a chip.. i do not need that? i have ribbon cable and ostrich to use with ectune..

MM74HC373N-ND 1 The other chip that is reqired 1.0KEBK-ND 1 1K resistor 399-2127-ND 2 .1uF capacitors

The other black thing is the baro sensor. Euro ecu's dont have that. Just disable it in the software and you will be fine.
